El importante diario académico Journal of Medical Biography, que está enfocado a documentar las biografías de relevantes figuras de la Historia de la Medicina, publicado por Sage Publications & la Royal Society of Medicine de Reino Unido, como cierre para su Fascículo 1 del volumen 28 de 2020, ha publicado para sus lectores una nota, informándoles de los nuevos datos sobre la juventud y estudios de Servet que constan en la publicación del libro (2017) Miguel Servet en España (1506-1527). “Miguel Servet en Espana (1506–1527). Edicion ampliada (ISBN 9788469780541; also available as download at https://ssrn.com/abstract=3093969, 2017) by Miguel Gonzalez Ancin and Otis Towns is a new collection of documents (in Spanish) relating to the early life of the scholar, perhaps better known by his Latinised name, Michael Servetus, who is immortalised in medical history for his account of the pulmonary circulation. These documents relate to his early years, when he was a student and then later a professor in the Studium Generale of Arts in Zaragoza (in which city a hospital is now named after him). This material will be of use to students of the era and to any future biographer of Servetus.”
